Sketchbook
A collection of single page comics, mostly done as part of the annual inktober challenge on Instagram.
Instead of photographs or written texts, I prefer illustrating snippets of a walk, a picnic, a vacation or just observations from my couch.
These doodles transport me to that moment in time when everything was still, and with each breath I drew a memory
Relationship provides a constant source of content for my sketchbook. Capturing the mundane, the small gestures, conversations and silent farts into these doodles that resonate with many.
Much of my personal work is autobiographical in nature but aims to be relatable. This is how I connect with the audience and share a nuance.
My entire family is my muse. I draw them a lot. They look forward to it now and often pressure me to update my sketchbook weekly.
Staying away from them means I hold onto the small moments. Many intangible things are shared through my illustrations, and distance between becomes shorter.
I live to eat. Cooking is an adventure. Avocado toast for life!
Random observations, gender based social pressures, unsolicited advice from people, excitement of opening an Etsy store, creative burnout etc. are all dumped here on this page.
